Rokossovsky’s Appointment In Poland f Rec. 8 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 17. The Foreign Secretary, Mr Ernest Bevin, said in the House of Commons' yesterday that he did not consider the Yalta Agreement gave the British Government the status for intervening in the appointment of the. Russian, Marshal Rokossovsky, as Poland's Defence Minister. He was replying to a question by Mr Raymond Blackburn (Labour), who asked Mr Bevin what protest he had made to the Soviet in respect of Marshal Rokossovsky’s appointment by Mr Stalin constituting a breach of the agreement reached at Yalta for the sovereign independence of Poland.
