SLEDGING FATALITY
PA WHANGAREI, Nov. 7. Sledging on his father’s farm at Kohukohu, Leslie Maynard, aged 22, was thrown under the sledge when his two horses bolted. He suffered severe internal injuries, as well as a broken neck and other damage to the spine. He was taken to Rawene .Hospital, where death occurred on Saturday night.
