HOSPITAL STAFF EXPENSES
Sir, —I am appalled to hear a Minister of Health make such a statement as, “Dr Moody quite evidently does not appreciate the disadvantage at which a board may place itself by proceeding with appointments on conditions substantially better than have been advertised.” Is the Minister so lacking in intelligence that she can see thousands being poured down a drain on medicine, and quibble at getting what is the fundamental of any health scheme—good doctors?—l am, etc.. Watchful.
