American Bomber Crashes In Suffolk
LONDON, Oct. 13. One of the United States Army Air Force’s latest long-range heavy bombers—a B.so—crashed to-day on a field near Lakenheath, Suffolk. Twelve bodies have so far been recovered from the plane, which burst into flames on impact with the ground. A United States Air Force officer said that the bomber was carrying a crew of 13.
. Visibility at the time of the accident was reduced to three-quarters of a mile by fog.
