Three People Dead In Gas-filled House
PA AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. Three people were found dead' in their home at Ramarama to-night. Their bodies were discovered in a gas-filled house after the police had investigated at the request of relatives. The victims were Hugh Campbell Kirk, aged 29, a motor driver employed by the Public Works Department, Papakura; Mrs Joyce Kirk, aged 22, his wife; and Joyce Kirk, aged 18 months, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Kirk. ' Relatives of the family are reported to have become alarmed at the lack of signs of life about the house. They went to the Kirk homestead about 8 o’clock to-night, found it locked, and noticed a strong smell of gas. The police were immediately advised.
