Butter-fat Production FIRST TWO MONTHS OF NEW SEASON ' Special Correspondent WELLINGTON, Oct. 15. The phenomenal rise in the output of butter-fat in New Zealand over the opening' months of the new season is regarded in the dairy industry as almost incredible. Already returns indicate an increase of 20 per cent, in the production of butter-fat for the first two months, August and September, of the 1949-50 dairying year compared with the figures for last season. With the figures for September yet to be completed, it is estimated that the output for the two months will be 31,000 tons, an increase of 5161 tons over the output in the first two months of last season, ’’’he comparative figures for the Augu 1 to September 30 period over th.
