MILD WITH DRIZZLE The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—There are anti-cyclones centred to the north and south-east of New Zealand, and a depression is approaching across the South Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate winds from a northerly quarter, freshening at times; weather overcast and mild, with scattered drizzle or light rain. Further'Oiitlooh.—Similar conditions. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather was dull and threatening in Dunedin yesterday, with a blustery wind from the north which made conditions unpleasant. .The maximum temperature was 53.6 deg and the minimum 51.3 deg. There was no sunshine, and no rain was recorded for the 24-hour period ended at 9.30 a.m. The barometer fell steadily, the midnight reading being 29.44 in.
