GERALDINE MEETING Although the interest of racing and trotting enthusiasts will be largely centred on the Tr e nth a m an d Forbury Park meetings to-day, the Geialdine meeting is likely to draw a good attendance from the surrounding districts. Class is not strongly represented in the fields, but the racing may nevertheless be keen and interesting. The following are among the horses likely to appeal to the public:— 11.15: Rangitata Hurdles.— Moonlit, Periwig, Kiloney. 3 12.0: Ohapi Stakes.—Barry, Paper Folly, Indiana. 12.55: Geraldine Cup.—Peridot, Falconbridge. Frances 1.40: Geraldine Trot.—'Te Maru, Preston. Kelvin Lass.
2.40: Raukapuka Handicap.—Beau Soir, Flying Fort, All Serene. 3.25: Squatters’ Handicap.—Theocritus, Terminus, The Hob. 4.10: Orari Trot.—Farlena. Supplement, President. 5.0: Belfleld Hack Handicap.—Morning Watch. Pacific Edition, Finance.
