FIRST AMERICAN WOMAN AMBASSADOR
WASHINGTON, Rec. 9 p.m. Oct. 12. President Truman to-day nominated the United States’ first woman Ambassador. She is Mrs Eugenie Anderson, a 40-year-old mother of a son and daughter, who will become Ambassador to Denmark. Mrs Anderson is the Democratic Party’s national committee woman in Minnesota. Other women naVe served the United States as Ministers.
