COMPANY DIVIDENDS
DIC, Ltd., advises that the annual dividend of 10 per cent, on ordinary shares, including bonus shares, and a final dividend of 2 h per cent, on preference shares (ex div.) will be paid on October 24. Woolwortlis (South Africa) advise that an interim dividend of 10 per cent, will be payable about November 12 to holders of ordinary and class A ordinary shares. Simpson and Williams recommend payment of a dividend of 7£ per cent., with a bonus of 1J per cent, on fully-paid shares for the year ended August 31, 1949, and at the same‘rate on contributing shares, in proportion to amounts paid up.
