BIGAMY CHARGE
SEQUEL TO ANONYMOUS TELEPHONE CALL PA WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. A sequel to an anonymous telephone call received by the police was the appearance in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday of George Frederick Musgrove, aged 54, an engineer, on a charge of .bigamy. He pleaded guilty and was committed by Mr J. S. Hanna, S.M., to the Supreme Court for sentence. Senior Detective Gibson told of the anonymous informant. He said Musgrove had admitted that he had been married in London in 1910, and had gone through a form or marriage with another woman in Wellington in 1926. ‘Evidence was given that Musgrove and the woman he “married” in 1926 had separated by mutual agreement in 1945.
