Britain May Secure loan From World Bank Rec. 11 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 25. The World Bank was expected to approve soon a 10.000,000-dollar loan to Britain for colonial development, said the New York Times to-day. The loan would go to the Colonial Development Corporation, an autonomous body financed by the British Treasury. It would be used in the United States and Canada to buy heavy engineering and .construction equipment for projects approved by the corporation. A typical example was the opening of timber tracts in British Honduras. The corporation planned to establish equipment pools at various places in the Pacific, Africa and Caribbean area. Equipment would be shipped to the scene of the project, then returned tq the pool when the job was completed.
