World Professional Cycling Champion Is Invited To Dominion

NZPA—Reuter—Copyright PARIS, Sept. 25. Reginald Harris, of Manchester, the world professional cycling sprint champion. may be seen in New Zealand towards the end of next year. He said to-da.v that he had turned down an invitation from Australia to ride there between November of this year and March. 1951, because the Australian promoters did not offer sufficient security. Harris said he had been invited to New' Zealand from November, 1950, to March. 1951, and if the conditions were more favourable than those offered by Australia he would be very pleased to accept them.
