SITUATIONS VACANT P UKEORA SANATORIUM, WAIPUKURAU. VACANCIES FOR AIDS. The Sanatorium has vacancies for YOUNG WOMEN to work as NURSING AIDS or as HOUSEHOLD AIDS. The commencing salary will be £222 per annum, with free uniforms, duty shoes and stockings. First-class board and lodgings are provided in a modern Nurses’ Home at a charge of £1 weekly; £lO locality allowance will be payable after 12 months service. Payment for overtime in addition to the above rates. Applicants with previous experience will commence at higher rates, the maximum being £247 per annum, plus locality allowance, but less board and lodgings. The Sanatorium, which is for the treatment of male patients from all parts of the North Island, is situated in a sunny and healthy position on the Napier-Wellington main highway. Amenities for the staff include tennis court, picture plant and subsidised evening buses. Further information will be supplied on request by the Matron, Miss V. S.
