Strikes In Chile Ended
Rec. 9 p.m. SANTIAGO, Aug. 21. The strikes in two South Chilean coal mines ended to-day and the Government announced that order had been restored throughout the country. The strikes and rioting began five days ago. The Government said they had been inspired by the outlawed Communist Party, which still hoped to cause a general strike of 120,000 Government, banking, and industrial workers next week.
