CITY WATER SUPPLY AUGMENTATION PLANS
The proposals for the improvement of Dunedin’s water supply will probably be discussed by the City Council at its next meeting on September 11. The chairman of the Water Committee. Cr N. D. Anderson, said at the meeting of the council last night that he was hopeful that the recommendations of the committee would then be discussed. The discussion is expected to centre on recommendations by the city engineer, Mr S. G. Scoular, who was instructed about four months ago to submit a report on proposals to augment the city water supply.
