VINCENT HOSPITAL BOARD Ministerial consent was received from the Department of Health by the Vincent Hospital Board at its meeting recently for the purchase of the doctor’s residence and six acres of land at Lauder. The purchase will be made jointly by the Vincent and Maniototo Hospital Boards. The Minister also approved a grant of £9O for maintenance of the Lauder medical service during the current financial year. The Health Department advised that the Minister had approved the board’s estimates for 1949-50, which provide for a total expenditure on maintenance and capital accounts of £39,660 9s 4d.
