ON SHOW AT AIR DISPLAY
A feature of the International Air Display held at Gatwick airport, England, was the demonstration given by Karl Montijo on his “Wee Bee” air-scooter. The plane was built by four young American engineers at a cost of about £45. The wing span is only 15ft, and the engine 8 h.p. The pilot has no cockpit, but lies along the fuselage, secured by harness. Karl Montijo is seen in position on his tiny aircraft, ready for th« take-off.
