HIGH TEMPERATURES IN DUNEDIN During July, the sun shone an hour and a-half longer on Dunedin than on Alexandra. In Oamaru, 126.3 hours of sunshine were recorded, while the figures for Dunedin and Alexandra were 110.5 hours and 109.0 hours respectively. Dunedin had the highest rainfall, with a total recording of 2.71 in, while Balclutha was not far behind with 2.17 in. At Alexandra, 1.33 in of rain fell, while 1.16 in were recorded at the Waitaki Hydro. Oamaru had the lowest total with a fall of 0.81 in.
