FOUR DEALS REPORTED DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE Yesterday was quiet on the Dunedm Stock Exchange, with only four deals reported. Vestibule business, however, was reported to be fully up to the recent level of trading and extensive quoting also indicated that a good inquiry persists. Broken Hill Proprietary shares were firmer, with buyers offering 40s 6d, and Electrolytic Zinc issues were both wanted higher at 58s. Dalgety and Company were asked for on a firmer bid of 9s 9d, sellers asking 9s lid. John Bulleia were reported sold at 18s, two deals being recorded at that figure, and Colonial Sugar were sold dearer at £56, with a further line reported at £55 17s Gd. Woolworths. Ltd., were quoted easier in the afternoon at 21s 4d (buyer) and 21s 9d (seller), and Woolworths, New Zealand, were static at 23s 6d bid and 23s 9d offered. New Zealand Refrigerating contributing were closely quoted in the morning at 17s 9d (buyer) and 17s lid (seller), but business did not result.
