OTAGO OPEN BILLIARDS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The first round of the Otago Open Billiards Championship was played last night, when C. Proctor, the amateur champion, beat J. Todd . r OO to 424. Proctor made breaks of 49, 45. 37, 34, 33, 36 and Todd’s best breaks were 35, 28, 27, 27, 26. P. Sincock beat J. McLaughlin 500 tot 462. Sincock made breaks of 58. 29 26 and McLaughlin had two breaks of 32 - The second round will commence tonight. when D. Napper will meet N Barbara (6.30) and L. Napper?? (titleholder) will weet N. Walsh (8.30).
