COST TO GROWERS
FUTURE DISPOSAL PLANS During a discussion on the postJoint Organisaton scheme for the future handing of wool, it was pointed out at the conference of Federated Farmers yesterday that while the possible cost of the scheme might be £100,000,000, half this amount would be found by Empire Governments and half by the growers in the various countries concerned. The . whole scheme was in the embryo stage, it was said, and any figures mentioned were purely speculative. How the amount from the gi'owers would be split up would be decided when the full scheme was approved.
