EARTH FROM LONDON BLITZED SITE FOR USE IN PEACE TOUR

Rec. 9 p.m. a LONDON, June 1. Earth from a London blitzed site is to be collected by the Duke of Edinburgh for ceremonial use in a peace tour by war veterans from Britain. France, Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg. At an international rally of ex-servicemen at Folkestone on June 18, the earth will be placed in an urn with soil taken from Arnhem, Normandy, and other battle areas. When ex-servicemen cross to Ostend for ceremonies in Belgium on June 19 the urn will be. lowered into the sea off the Belgian coast, and wreaths bearing the colours of the five nations will be cast on the water.
