Speaking to a Daily Times reporter last night, Dr Edson said that the congress in bio-chemistry to be held •in Cambridge during August, promised to be extremely interesting. It had attracted the attention of the British Government, which would hold a reception for it. The opportunity for discussion would be most valuable, Dr Edson said. Dr Edson is one of many staff members of the University to go overseas. Among those away at present are Dr F. H. Smirk, professor of medicine, and Dr R. S. Aitken, vice-chancellor. Dr H. D.
