SUCCESS IN ENGLAND

BLIND STUDENTS FROM NEW ZEALAND AUCKLAND, June 1. Allan Morton, a blind student physiotherapist, of Mount Albert, Auckland, who is studying in London, has passed an examination entitling him to proceed with his studies. Leslie Sainsbury, of Dunedin, who is studying alongside Morton, gained fourth place in the same examination. They were able to go to England through the assistance of the New Zealand Institute of the Blind, London. Another blind New Zealander, Mr J. H. E. Papesch, of Auckland, formerly director of music for the New Zealand Institute, has done so well in his studies in England that the institute has authorised a grant to enable him to study in France.
