EAST-WEST TRADE TALKS RUSSIANS REFUSE TO GIVE INFORMATION Rec. 11 p.m. LONDON, May 28. Delegates of Britain, America, Russia and 22 European countries failed to agree on a system to increase EastWest trade at a meeting of the Trade Committee of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, says the British United Press Geneva cor-, respondent. / Mr Paul Porter, the American delegate, said the meeting was a failure because the Russians refused to agree to supply information to the secretariat beyond that already published in the Soviet Union. The Russian delecate. Mr M. A. Arutiunian, wanted bilateral trade negotiations to begin before the general information survey was made. The meeting agreed to instruct the secretariat to continue its studies on East-West trade.
