POULTRY KEEPERS
MEETING OF OTAGO-SOUTHLAND . ASSOCIATION Special to the Daily Times OAMARU, May 27. Mr D. Christie was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Otago-Southland Provincial Association of Registered Poultry Keepers, held at Oamaru. There was a fair attendance of members. The financial statement showed the association's finances to be in a healthy condition. Mr Christie gave a comprehensive review of the year’s activities, dealing with post-war marketing and the control of eggs and supplies of meatmeal.
At the annual district meeting held prior to the association’s meeting, Messrs A V. Christiansen and C. N. Brown were elected delegates to the association for a term of two years. Mr F. G. Mountford was in the chair, and the annual report and balance sheet were adopted.
