CHRISTCHURCH HOTEL GRADINGS
UNITED SERVICE HOTEL—S-STAR Although the correction in the hotel gradings of leading Christchurch hotels appeared in the Christchurch daily papers, some confusion appears to have occurred in the minds of the public through the non-appearance of direct reference to this announcement in other centres. Associated with the general release of this news was an announcement from the office of the Price Control Division that, following the final overhall bf hotel gradings and the location of certain anomalies prior to the issue of the price order, the United Service, Clarendon, and Warner’s Hotels were officially graded as 5-star hotels.—Advt.
