The Waitaki County Council yesterday passed a motion of sympathy with the relatives in the death of Mr James Poyner Mr Poyner, the ehairman, Mr Adams, said, had been an old and valued servant of the council, and had given 20 years’ service on the outside staff. The council also expressed sympathy with Cr D. H. Borrie In his illness, with best wishes for his speedy recovery.
