Industrial Harmony Said to be Secured By Australian Play
PA WELLINGTON, May 27.
A play which, it is reported, has brought industrial harmony and increased production wherever it has been shown, “The Forgotten Factor,” is likely to be brought to New Zealand from Australia towards the end of, the year. Mr Michael Lennon, who headed the group of. Moral Rearmament workers who arrived from Australia at the beginning of April, said to-day that a national committee of invitation was Dominion. Included in its ranks were being formed to bring the play to the trade unionists, politicians, civic and church leaders and prominent representatives of many other organisations. Local committees of action would be formed in .each centre to take responsibility for financing the production and providing accommodation for the ;v ers in key roles would be brought from Australia, but other parts would be filled by local talent. Mr and Mrs Lennon, Miss Marjorie Bates and Dr Ronald Davidson, the last of the Australian Moral Rearmament party, will return to the Commonwealth by the Akaroa next Tuesday. Other members of the party returned some time ago.
