BALCLUTHA Small yardings of sheep and medium yardings of cattle were forward at yesterday’s Balclutha sale. There were 751 fat sheep. Prime wethers made 59s to 62s 6d; medium, 54s to 57s 6d; light, 46s to 47s 6d. Extra prime ewes made 33s to 34s 6d: prime 31s to 32s 6d; medium, 28s to 32s 6d; light, 24s 6d to 27s 6d. Extra prime lambs made to 48s 6d; prime, 40s to 42s 6d; medium, 38s to 39s 6d; light, 36s 6d.
