PIANO RECITAL

On June 7, in the Concert Chamber, Peter Cooper, the New Zfealand-born pianist, will give a recital. The programme will include Prelude and Fugue F minor (Mendelssohn), Nocturne E minor, Mazurka B fiat minor, E major Op. 10 and A minor Op. 25 (Chopin), Sonata A major, Op. 101 (Beethoven), Nocturne C sharp minor (Faure), Valse Aubliee and Paganini Etude A minor (Liszt). Mr Cooper has made extensive concert tours, both in hi# native country and in Australia. During his war service he gave over 150 concerts for troops in New Guinea, and on his demobilisation went to England, where he played successfully in London and the provinces.
