Soil being excavated from the site of the old G HIJ wharf shed, preparatory to the completion of the new shed at Birch street wharf. Immediately this task is finished, contractors will begin the construction of the final section of the shed, which will be 210 feet long. It is hoped that the new building will be ready for use in about six months time.
