The present campaign by the 460,000 strong National Union of Railwaymen for a 10s a week wage rise ■is being closely watched by the other unions. The Electrical Trades Union, the Railway Clerk’s Association, and the Institution of Professional Civil Servants 'have begun agitation for relief by reduced taxation, reduced prices, or increases in pay.
