CROQUET ASSOCIATION
NEW OFFICERS APPOINTED The Otago Croquet Association’s next annual tournament will be held on February 9 of next year. This was decided at tne Annual meeting yesterday aftern°The" question of the inter-club games was herd over until the meeting of the association, in September. Miss M. Wilson (Alexandra): vice-presidents, Mesdames John McDonald
(Punga), V. Gain (Punga), and H. D. Munro (Leith); secretary, Mrs A. Dunne (Leith); treasurer, Mrs G. Little (Watea); referee, Mrs B. Buchler (Punga); handicapper. Mrs F. Hanger (Tainui); tournament manager, Mrs John McDonald; assistant tournament manager, Mrs A. Rayner; Match Committee—Mesdames Buchler (convener), Gibson, and Hangar; Lawns Committee, Mesdames Munro and McKinley; social convener, Mrs Gain; hon. auditor, Mr R. H. Clark; correspondent, Mrs Rayner. Although Gold Song is not engaged at Washdyke this week-end, he came through his racing last Saturday in good style, and will be a fit horse for the Wingatui meeting.
