CEYLON TEA SALES
Rec. 8 p.m. COLOMBO, May 26. The offerings at this week’s Ceylon tea sales totalled 3,050,4501 b. The market was easier except for leaf grades and fannings, which are in strong demand. Highgrown broken orange pekoes realised 192 Ceylon cents, medium liquoring broken orange pekoes 178, and low medium dust 172 cents per lb.
