The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department has received the following advice regarding the London wool sales: Second day: More general competition on the basis now established. Greasy . fine medium crossbred and greasy medium crossbred, buyers’ favour. Range of sale room prices for New Zealand greasy wool (prices are given in sterling without deduction of any sort for freight, expenses, etc.):— Merinos: 60/64’s, good 58d to 60d; average, 54d to 56d. Fine halfbred; 58’s/ 56/58’s, good, 45d to- 47d; average, 40d to 44d. Halfbred, 50/56's-sG’s, good, 35Jd to 38d; average, 32d to 35d. Fine crossbred, 50's-48/50’s, super, 27d to 28d; good, 25id to 26id; average, 24£d to 25d. Medium crossbred: 46’s-46 to 48's-48’s, super, 25id to 2Gid; good, 23id to 25d; average, 22id to 23d. Crossbred lambs: Good, 29d to 31d; average, 24d to 26d. First crossbred pieces: Good, 21d to 23d; average, 20d to 20|d. Crossbred bellies: Good, 17d to 19d; average, 17d to 19d.
