FAIR 66 CLOUDY The official weather forecast issued. bj the Meteorological Office in Wellingtor is:— Situation.—An intense anti-cyclone covers New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Light or moderate north-westerly to northerly winds. Weather fair or cloudy with day temperatures rising. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Frosty conditions prevailed during the week-end. and temperatures were low. The maximum recording up to 9 a.m. on Friday was 52.5 deg, with a minimum of 37deg and a grass minimum of 21deg. There was no rainfall and the sunshine lasted for seven hours and a-half. On Saturday there w-as was a north-easterly wind, but no rain fell. After a frost there was a recording of Bhr 48min of sunshine, and the maximum temperature was 52.1 deg. The minimum temperature was 46deg. There was little change in the barometer reading throughout yesterday and at midnight it was 30.5 deg.
