CRIPPLED CHILDREN
The annual report of the Oamaru Crippled Children Society states that there are 31 crippled children on the society’s books. Conveyance of cripples to hospital for massage treatment, and voice production had been arranged and footwear and supports supplied. Cleft palate cases had also received assistance from the society and invalid chairs and crutches had been supplied. Cripples had also been placed in suitable occupations.
