DUNEDIN SWIMMING CLUB
The Dunedin Amateur Swimming Club held its annual children’s party and prize-giving ceremony in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Saturday. The president, Mr D. C. Bannatyne, presented the following trophies which were won during the season: J. J. Clark Cup (senior men), C. N. Williams; W. L. Hooper Cup (senior women), Miss B. Moore; W. F. James Cup (junior). W. Cruickshanks; W. A. Williams Memorial Cup (junior allround series), Miss Janice Duthie; V. E. D. Thomson Cup (junior series), Miss Patricia Rix; George Trengrove Cup (most improved swimmer), Lenore Godfrey; De Crewe Challenge Cup (25 yards breaststroke, under 12). David Mauger.
