FURTHER ADVANCE IN SELECTED ISSUES Business was moderately good on the Stock Exchange yesterday and the gains made on the previous day were consolidated with selected issues advancing still further. Buyers came in more solidly after the announcement of Dominion Fertiliser’s 6 per cent, dividend* and advanced their offer another Is to close at 28s (buyers) and 31s (sellers). Macduffs and National Bank of New Zealand did no more than hold their respective gains, the former being quoted at 10s 3d (buyer) and 10s 6d (seller), and the bank shares at 59s Gd and 60s 6d, buyer and seller. Whitcombe and Tombs had business at 22s 6d, the last sale price, the < market finishing at 22s (buyer) and 22s 9d (seller). Ballin's Brewery were wanted from two to three-quarters of the room, but New Zealand Breweries were easy, with buyers distant.
