LADIES’ BOWLING
To close their playing season, members of the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Club were entertained at afternoon tea, and Mixed Progressive Pairs at the green on Tuesday last, by their president, Mrs G. Coughlan, who presented the Club Singles trophies to Mrs C. Jarvis (champion) and Mrs E. McCrorie (runner-up). Mrs Coughlan and Mrs McCrorie retain the Challenge Fours. The winners of the Pairs were Mrs Healey (skip) and Mrs Stoddart (lead).
A pleasant afternoon was spent on Tuesday last, when the Ladies’ Section of the North-East Valley Bowling Club closed the season with a Drawing competition. The president, Mrs Wheeler, presented prizes to Mesdames Grant and Gemmell
