PRECAUTIONS TAKEN
POSSIBLE DISORDERS IN EIRE STATUS OF REPUBLIC NZPA —Copyright LONDON, Apl. 15. The Government of Northern Ireland is taking large-scale precautions against possible disorder when Eire becomes a republic at midnight on April 17. A special watch will he kept on the entry from Eire of Irish Republican Army members. The Northern Ireland Government has forbidden public meetings celebrating Eire's independence. Meanwhile, in Eire, citizens appeared unconcerned at the prospect of independence. The Dublin City Council could not get the necessary twothirds majority to permit a minimum expenditure of £4OOO on floral decorations in the main streets. Other towns followed Dublin’s example, and flags only will decorate municipal buildings
