“ELECTRIC CHAIR” FOR PIGS
Rec. 9 p.m. PARIS, Apl. 16. A pigs’ “ electric chair ’ capable ot dealing with 1200 pigs a day has been installed in a slaughterhouse in Paris. The live pig is directed down a concrete corridor into a small metal chamber where it is electrocuted within two seconds and falls on to a marble table to be dressed.
