Citril Pleases in Great Easter Trial

Fine Night, and also by Stag Dance, an improving two-year-old. Kirkella shaded Revolte over a mile in lmin 43 2-ssec. Royal Tan was a neck in front of Liebestraum, who finished very well, in lmin 44sec, with ’ Responsive and Dark Arrow four lengths away and Tenor Royal further back. Conclusion beat Terminate, doing the last half mile in 50 4-ssec. Ballochbuie 'pleased while beating Detract over seven furlongs in lmin 29 4-ssee. Disturbance registered lmin 30 l-ssec alone and Primitive was too good for Deccan in lmin 30 2-ssec. Frances easily beat Robin Redbreast and Trident in lmin 32sec. Faithful Pal outclassed Bambalina over six furlongs in lmin 16 2-ssec, the last half mile in 50 l-ssec, but the West Coaster has a reputation of being a poor track galloper. False Step was a neck in front of Flying Orders over five furlongs in lmin 3sec after Chord and Celtic Chief had done lmin 3 l-ssec. Three Champagne Slakes candidates did a good hall mile. Golden Spa and Super Snipe recorded 48 2-ssee, shading /Western Winner, who led most of the way and who looked as if he could have done better at the finish. Rising Tide beat Birdman in 48 l-ssec and Dowry finished well under pressure to beat Prince Defaulter in 48 4-ssec. This time was equalled by Beaumaris, who was too good for Trinidad, while Peridot was close up with Boost. Blue Print and Supreme Command following at intervals. Lady Christine made friends when she outclassed Woodrow in 48 4-ssec. A number of horses from Canterbury arrived here to-day.
