Following heavy rain on Friday, the going was soft early at Feilding on Saturday. , However, the day was brilliantly fine, 'and the course dried out rapidly and was in great order for the. opening of the Easter meeting. There was a large attendance, and the totalisator investments amounted to £73,306, compared with £66.763 last year, the increase being £6543. Results:— Kawa Kawa Hurdles, of £350.
