OAMARU TOURNAMENT

SINGLES COMPETITION Special to the Dally Times OAMARU. Apl. 14. The Oamaru Easter bowling tournament opened this morning with the Singles, the weather being sunny and the greens fast. Forty-four qualified for post-sec-tional play, there being a number of section ties, the number being reduced to eight at the close of play. A cold spell set in mid-afternoon, making conditions unpleasant for bowling, with a gusty wind affecting accurate drawing. At the close of play eight remained in the competitions. Results:—
