KAITANGATA COAL SHARES DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE After a stalemate extending over some months, buyers and sellers of Kaitangata Coal shares seemed prepared to do business on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday, when the quotation closed 39s 6d (buyer) and 41s (seller). This was in contrast to a regular quotation wide at 35s (buyer) and 44s (seller). New Zealand Breweries maintained their firmness at 48s 6d (buyer) and 49s (seller), but Southland Frozen Meat (ord.) relaxed to business at 59s 6d, when 100 shares were taken. National Bank of New Zealand were in better demand, and .a buyer stood at the previous sale price or 55s on the morning call, but in the absence of a seller, nominally quoted 54? 9d in the afternoon.
