HERIOT STOCK SALE
A =inall entrv of 800 sheep was offered at the Heriot stock sale yesterday. Several lines of sheep were held back, owing to the wet weather. A mixed entry met with a ready sale at values in keeping with other markets. Quotations; Medium Romney cross twotooth ewes, 52s to 58s; small 40s; iwotooth Rornnev cross wethers, 43s to 475: four-year Romney cross ewes, 445; good full and failing-mouth ewes, 33s 6d; medium Romnev cross ewe lambs, 39s 6d to 40s 6d; small. 30s 3d to 33s 3d; rape lambs, to 345.
