COMMUNISTS NOMINATE TIME AND PLACE

Rec. 11 p.m. NANKING. Mar. 26. A Chinese Communist radio broadcast to-night notified the Nationalise Government that the Communists were prepared to begin peace talks in Com-munist-held Peiping on April 1. The radio said a five-man delegation had been appointed to negotiate with the Nationalist delegation. It is headed by Chouen Lai, the Communis: foreign affairs expert. Reuter says that Nationalist Government leaders met last night to speed up the drafting of the Government’s peace formula.
